Virgo
I tried to do my normal Saturday morning blog post but I had people waiting when I opened the office at 10 and I was busy until after I closed the office at 4. Apparently people thought I worked there and wanted to give us their business. They obviously didn't know that I had other, more important things to do. Like update my blog.

The week was busy and slow all at the same time. My good husband distributed about 800 newsletters this week and owe him a beer or ten. I found someone who lives in the 'hood who was willing to help us and that made me a happy camper.

This weekend looks like it's going to be busy but I should have adequate time to slack. I am meeting [info]gypsylady for lunch tomorrow and I have to go visit yee olde optometrist on Monday. JOY!

I would like to welcome [info]leadasgirl to The Algonquin Round Table. She found me via friends of friends and claims to be a "Vanilla Valley girl turned trollop." Whoo hoo!!! That's my kind of friend! Although after a careful perusal if her friend's list, it looks like we have [info]maxomai in common. A friend of [info]maxomai is a friend of mine.

And last, gentle readers, I would like to point out that if you do a Google search for Lady Dulcinea del Toboso my blog comes up as the 7th entry.

I'm so hip. Really. Stop laughing.

Was I laughing? Really? I didn't hear myself. Maybe it's because I have music on. (And we all know how unusual it is for me to have music on.)

Really. Stop laughing.(I just have to convince Pandora.com that I Do. Not. Want. Bob Dylan music...)

"Lady Dulcinea del Toboso" isn't she the one who was said her beauty was above all others? I thought maybe your hubby picked that out for you.

No. She was the woman whose honor Don Quixote was fighting for.

Fair Lady
"‘Softly, my Signior Don Quixote de la Mancha,’ quoth the duke; ‘for where my Lady Dulcinea del Toboso is present there is no reason other beauties should be praised.’"

No sign of your blog though.

That's so funny about the Round Table because last night I had a dream in which I was Dorothy Parker! Thanks for the kind welcome...
