Normally around this time of year work has slowed down and I can dig out my desk and work on little projects that need to get done. Not so this year. This has been the busiest year we've had since I started working here 7 years ago. It's a very good thing that it's busy but I could really use some down time.

This week I volunteered to give myself even LESS downtime because I am now the official Chair of the North Image Neighborhood Association. The current Chair had too much on her plate and gave up the position. I couldn't let it just slide away so I volunteered to do it. I guess this means I have to be nice and smile and FORCE people to care about their 'hood. Ian volunteered to be the secretary for the Neighborhood Association AND he's the official Traffic Cheese. I think we have a good thing going. I will be filled in on my Official Duties on Sunday and I'll get all the paperwork I need AND more!!

Short entry today. I have customers coming in to demand my attention.
