Rocks & Flower
I have had a live journal blog rattling around in my head for most of the weekend but I can't seem to get it into coherent sentences.

We really have to go exercise but both of us are sitting here in the office looking for other things to do so we don't have go right yet. I think out bodies are in shock because we actually slept through the night. Ya see for the past two weeks or so, Grendel had been demanding we let him outside in the middle of the night (this is normal. But then he wants to come in an hour or so later (this is not normal). Last night Ian let him outside and when he came back into the bedroom, he shut the door and turned on the air purifier so we wouldn't her Grendel scratching at our chamber door. Ahhh bliss!

Yesterday I wandered around Portland and bought wine and browsed yarn shops. I didn't buy any yarn because I still have to finish Ian's scarf. It looks pretty good if I do say so myself. I'm going to start on an easy baby blanket once the scarf is done. Ian stayed home and watched reruns of Enterprise and power-scrubbed the house and did more laundry. I was impressed.

Today I still have to go to the gym and buy a few groceries. The in-laws will be here Friday so I have to stock up on Diet and Coke and Canadian Mist.

We got our Primary ballots in the mail on Saturday and I voted today after dinner. No one was here to poll me outside my mailbox. No one shook my hand. It was quite boring. I told Ian I was voting for Fred Thompson.
